Methods and approaches of water ecological civilization construction
Chen JinThe characters and connotation are analyzed based on our national conditions,and 11 indexes indicated the 3 goals,people security and happiness,water sustainable utilization and healthy water ecosystem are proposed.Furthermore,the methods and procedures are discussed.To realize water ecological civilization,not only water conservancy should be emphasized,but also 3 goals should have the equal importance.Institutional improvement,ecological ethic and water environment and ecology restoration are main contents of water ecological civilization.Water restoration should not only be respected by natural law,but also its complexity and chronicity should be realized.
Connotation, architecture and model of digital twin basin
Li Wenzheng;The digital twin basin constructs a digital space formed by mapping the characteristic data“parallel”to the physical basin through the comprehensive application of the new generation of information technology and its combination of many technologies, realizing the simulation, emulation and deduction of the basin in the basin digital space, and realizing the man-machine joint decision-making and regulation decision-making management. Aiming at the core elements of the digital twin basin, such as physical basin, connection calculation, data acquisition, digital twin model and its twin service, the research on digital twin basin characteristic data acquisition, mapping image, system structure and digital twin model construction method is systematically carried out, and the connotation of digital twin basin, the architecture of digital twin basin based on ABCDMEETS and the construction method of digital twin basin model is proposed.The research results can provide theoretical, methodological guidance and technical support for the construction of a digital twin basin.
Overview of water pollution incident of the Rhein River and recommendations
Liu Heng, Chen Jiwei, Hu SupingA chemical plant was bombed on 13 Oct 2005 at Jilin province. Songhua River was seriously polluted, which caused a wide-known water quality pollution incident. It was quite similar to the Sandoz incident before 19 years ago in Switzerland. The Sandoz incident also polluted the water quality and had great ecological effects in Rhein River. However, the followed protection and cooperation procedures changed the Europe polluted waterway to a clear river. This paper interpreted and introduced part of 1986 annual report of ICPR. Its comprehensive measures and riparian countries cooperation are helpful to treatment of water pollution of Songhua River, as well as development, utilization and protection of other rivers in China.
River health connotation
Dong zherenRiver health, as one of the river assessment tools, rather than a strictly scientific concept performs a well function in setting up relative bench mark and evaluable criterion, Based on it , river ecosystem states , which varies under double actions of nature force and human activity, could be dynamically monitored and evaluated in order to predict its revolution trend through research and prompt its well development through management. The river health assessment should exhibit the balance between development and protection, the benefit coordinating among correlatively interested individuals and groups. Since water pollution becomes the severest threat to river health in our country, so at present stage of our ecologic environmental construction , its control and treatment should be put in the first place.

Research progress in water resources monitoring based on satellite remote sensing images
Fu Qinghua ;Gu Zhujun ;Feng Jiangfan;Satellite remote sensing technology enables the spatiotemporal monitoring of water resources distribution, providing comprehensive, quantitative, and rapidly updated fundamental information for analyzing the spatial distribution and change patterns of water resources. This paper provides a systematic review of the research progress in surface water resources and groundwater resources monitoring based on satellite remote sensing imagery, and analyzes the challenges and potential research directions in satellite remote sensing image monitoring, aiming to offer a reference for the application of research in related fields.
Algae removal and control technologies
Guo LonggenA brief introduction is made on algae removal and control technologies in eutrophic lakes in China. Feasible methods for removing and controlling algae that meets the local conditions are proposed based on comparing current algae removal and control methods. The direct means include physical and chemical methods, but biological method means to apply vegetation for algae control.
