China Water Resources is administered by Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by China Water Resources News, founded in 1950, semi-monthly issued. History of the Journal
The predecessor of China Water Resources was People's Water Resources, which was founded on August 20, 1950. In January 1956, it was renamed as China Water Resources (monthly). In October 1958, China Water Resources merged with People's Electric Power and Workers' Daily of Water Resources and Electric Power, and changed its name to Water Resources and Electric Power (semi-monthly). In June 1966, it ceased publication. In January 1981, China Water Resources resumed its quarterly publication, and became a bimonthly publication in 1983, a monthly publication in 1984, and a semi-monthly publication in 2003.
